Gear

Primary gear is broken down into four main categories: Melee, Ranged, Defense, and Heroic, which are associated with ratings of the same name. In addition to the 4 pieces of primary gear, there are two additional slots for Minor and Major Artifacts. Gear does not change a character's appearance, only stats. In addition to gaining bonuses based on the above stats, gear can come with up to 3 Perks. Each item of gear can grant a bonus to one of seven attributes: Attribute Description Ratings Impacted Intensity Impacts how quickly you stun or infect an enemy with a status effect. Heroic Rating Might Directly impacts your character’s Melee Damage and their Ultimate Heroic Ability charge rate. Melee Rating Precision Directly impacts your character’s Ranged Damage and their Assault Heroic Ability charge rate. Ranged Rating Proficiency Impacts Critical Attack Chance and activation rate of gear perks. Melee Rating Ranged Rating Resilience Impacts defense by decreasing damage taken and charge speed of Support Heroic Ability. Heroic Rating Defense Rating Resolve Impacts maximum Willpower and benefit of health packs and healing actions. Defense Rating Valor Impacts Critical Attack damage and power of all Heroic abilities.
