Blindsided by the Avengers' disbandment and AIM’s crusade against Inhumans, she stuck with her mentor Clint Barton to investigate the disappearance of former SHIELD director Nick Fury. When Clint disappeared too, Kate was left adrift and lacking in allies. Though she isn't sure she can trust them, Kate now turns to the Avengers in search of Hawkeye.
